Sunday didn’t bring a change of fortunes for Mobil 1™ HSV Racing, resulting in a weekend we would like to forget.

Saturday didn’t go to script for Mobil 1 HSV Racing, with James Courtney finishing 17th, and Scott Pye 19th.

We’ve headed west. 3,641 kilometres west to be accurate, landing at Barbagallo Raceway in Perth for round 4 of the 2017 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.

After really promising signs throughout, ultimately, it was a tough day at the Island for Mobil 1 HSV Racing.

The day started off promising, with James in the top 10 in qualifying, and Scotty unlucky not to be in there as well.

James Courtney’s car #22 will have a new head turning look at the WD-40 Phillip Island 500 and beyond, with Boost Mobile becoming the major partner on the car for the rest of the year.

We’re back in our home state for round 3 of the championship, as we get ready to cross the bridge and park up at Phillip Island for the weekend.

After what can only be described as a disastrous Saturday, where both cars were heavily damaged, the positive out of today was that we finished the way we started, with a straight car.

The Mobil 1 HSV Racing car #22 of James Courtney has been ruled out of the remainder of the Tyrepower Tasmania SuperSprint after irreparable damage was sustained in race 3 of the championship.
