A tough way to wrap on our weekend here in the Top End, with a DNF for Chaz Mostert and Ryan Wood working his way up to P7.
It was a bit of what could have been today with power steering issues forcing Ryan Wood to retire and Chaz Mostert overcoming an early setback after finding oil on track that dropped him to the mid pack before climbing back up to P6.
That’s two cars inside the top 10 for Race 17 here in Darwin, with Chaz Mostert crossing the line in P7 and Ryan Wood right behind him in P8.
We are headed to the Top End for the Darwin Triple Crown for Indigenous Round.

Chaz Mostert claimed his maiden Toyota victory today, after a dominant qualifying session this performance this morning, which also saw him secure pole position.
